Elections and Voting Information
In Pennsylvania, voter registration and elections are the responsibility of county government. For information on registering to vote, elections, how to run for office or elections results, call the Berks County Voter Registration Office at 610-478-6490. The office is located at 633 Court Street, Reading, Pa., and is open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
* Primary elections are held on the third Tuesday in May or on the fourth Tuesday in April when presidential elections are held.
* General elections are conducted on the Tuesday following the first Monday in November.
Polling places in the Township are as follows:
* Precinct #1 Maxatawny Township Building
* Precinct #2 Hope Lutheran Church, Bowers
* Precinct #3 Keystone Hall, Kutztown University
