Agricultural Security Committee

The Agricultural Security Committee is a five member committee who are residents of the Township and meet periodically on matters pertaining to farming and agriculture. The primary function of the committee is to review applications for inclusion in the Township Agricultural Security District and recommend appropriate action to the Board of Supervisors.

August is the month in which applications for inclusion are accepted by the Township, and the Agricultural Security Committee generally meets in September or October to review these applications.

At present, there are in excess of 8,000 acres of farm land in the Township's Agricultural Security District.
