Agricultural Advisory Committee

The Board of Supervisors established an Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC) to discuss affairs of the Township as pertaining to the agricultural community. The AAC does not meet on a regular bases as do most of the other committees of the Township. It meets when the Board of Supervisors is contemplating adopting ordinances, resolutions, and similar action which may have a direct or indirect on farming practices. For example, prior to adopting the Burning Ordinance, a copy of which you can find in this website, the AAC met and reviewed the ordinance and suggested possible revisions which the Board considered prior to adopting the final version of the ordinance.
